My oldest son is also a history buff and loves studying the Civil War. He hopes to one day serve in the military and has been inspired by the stories of heroes of the past.
There are so many inspiring stories – – my husband and I never make it very far when we travel back there because we are reading every single inscription on every single monument! Two of my sons chose the military route – – very proud of them. Best wishes to your son. It is a noble, worthwhile goal:)
