Someday when I have more time, I will become a better photographer.
What am I saying? I’m not even a basic photographer. I’m in the “I suck” zone. But there’s always hope.
And someday, I will take more pictures of my grandchildren. But it seems when they are around we’re too busy to grab the camera, let alone use it. And forget having them slow down long enough to pose.
Fortunately, one of my daughters-in-law is becoming quite good at capturing and sharing childhood moments. I especially get a kick out of the photos that show a scene different than reality.
Here we have Isaac, looking as though he’s penning the next best selling novel.

In reality he’s a wiggly, giggly two-year old. Quite frankly, I have never seen him sit still like that. Well, except for when I’m reading him a story.
I’ve also been following a great photography blog. I love these Happy Feet. This little guy looks like he’s levitating off the ground. Check out Larry’s Blog. His “Thought for the day” is fun as well.
Again we have Isaac. Note the short little legs and floor length apron bending over the sink. I’m sure he’s cleaning up the breakfast dishes.

But actually, he’s been making messes and having water fun at the Children’s Museum. Still, the thought of a man — any man — in an apron working over the sink, gives me cause for celebration.
aww, i’m glad you’re able to use some of my pics of the kids. they’re fun!! 🙂
