Mattie Mae

I've done a lot of praying for wisdom and strength lately, but today I asked for something new. JOY. I need joy.  This house sorely needs joy. I was flooded with memories of my great-grandmother. She had no material wealth that I know of.  Almost all the years I knew her she lived with her youngest daughter, Ruth, …

I am in “Like” with Oregon

It just irritates me like crazy to admit this, but I love where I live. I've lived here for 25 years, so it's about time I came to a conclusion one way or the other.  Just didn't want to rush it. Looking for Spring

Evidence of spring is slow in coming this year...34 degrees when I look outside this morning.  But I will take this and be glad...... Outside my kitchen window this gift waits for me....I don't even mind doing dishes. "Take a good look at God's wonders-they'll take your breath away" Psalm 66:5, The Message
